How memorable was YOUR childhood?

To be very frank, mine wasn’t that memorable. One reason maybe because I did not find anything that happened to me wonderful. What happened, just happened. But one thing I can never forget the love I was shown by my parents and especially my brother. He even used to change my diapers when I was very little (this piece of info I got from my mom and I am not ashamed of it). He used to take me by his bicycle to school. We studied in the same school. I was in 4th grade when he was in 10th. But I still remember him being in the Scouts troupe.

Now what I am willing myself to say is, when you come across children make sure you give them unforgettable moments which they will remember throughout their lives. I of course am carrying this out myself as best as I can. It kind of makes me happy to know I am a cherished part of a child’s memory.

Believe me, it is a veryย exhilaratingย experience. I actually feel ashamed of myself for not remembering that much of my childhood. The only things that I can remember very well are after the age of 14. Until then, it is all a blur of images. And I will do my best to make sure that all the children I am close to will have only good memories of me. How about you?

Well….My childhood was not tat bad….I remember atleast 40% of it.. i can even recall some of the minute things i experienced during my childhood……all good n bad ones… my school day functions, some outings with family, silly quarrels with frnds, the only scenery which i used to draw(with mountains which looked like triangles, river with 2 or 3 fishes,a coconut tree n a house),me playing alone with kitchen set n with lots of Readers Digest magazine around me, and i never cant forget the ni8 when i had a fall(still gt stitches mark on my forehead) where my dad n cousin had taken me to the hospital…
Hmmm i wish i could rewind my life because i want to experience all good times i had…those days which were tension free,no worries,no fear…UNFORGETTABLE DAYS..
Nyways…Pavan , its a gud post…i went back to my childhood when i was commenting…

I don’t know if people will believe me… but i remember stuff that happened with me from as young an age as less than an year. i dont say i remember them vividly, but they r a set of pictures residing in the bottom-most vaults of my brain!
egs: i remember lifting my neck for the first time and seeing my mom when i was lying on my stomach. i had no strength to move about the place then! ๐Ÿ™‚
one of my uncle used to gimme some practice regarding standing upright. and on the day which i remember, i felt like, i was putting up a great fight against a monster who was trying to push me down.
after growing little more, i remember asking “Ajji, kothamiri kodi” in the market beside our house in Ulsoor, Bangalore. ๐Ÿ™‚ (age : around 4 years)
Not just these, there are a lot more things. I remember my days in Kindergarten where i was given a pad and some clay… i was supposed to stick it on the pad in whatever way. i made a long fat patch and two perpendicular patches over it. the teacher sitting there told me it was an aeroplane. she gave me a chocolate and i kept it in my pocket fearing that my mom would scold me if i ate it off. ๐Ÿ™‚
Wonderful memories. and by the way, i remember even holding the milk bottle in my younger brother’s mouth when he was 2 yrs old and i was around 5 yrs old ๐Ÿ™‚ i particularly love the last one.

I remember my first day at school; I should be 3.5 years then. Infact, my childhood was so horrible that I remember most of the days ๐Ÿ˜€

I have a very poor memory.I admit it.I do not remember much.I do not feel like recollecting anything anymore.I feel its not worth.Probably the more i try not to recollect it,the more it haunts me.Well, some are good and some bad.It does not give me any pleasure.Absolutely,I gain nothing thinking back my past.I know i cannot get back my childhood days.So why should I ever think of it?

I know that my opinion might be contradicting and strange.I admit I am different in many ways.

    Huh ๐Ÿ˜

Why should you ever think of your childhood? Now THAT is something I don’t hear very often. But hey. imagine you get transferred to some other place and after many years you visit your native. What do you think will happen then? Will you force yourself to NOT think about all the good times you had?
